Taylor Meiorin Associate, MSc, PhD (CAND) (she, her)
I am a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology at Western University, where I also completed my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. My clinical training has included work across private practice and hospital settings, providing psychological assessment and intervention to adults with a range of psychological concerns.
At West London Psychology, I provide psychological services to adults and older adolescents experiencing a range of mental health concerns and life challenges, such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive difficulties, emotion regulation and interpersonal difficulties, stress, sleep concerns, and challenges related to life transitions. My approach is collaborative, warm, and evidence-based, drawing primarily from cognitive-behavioural approaches while tailoring treatment to each client’s individual needs and goals. I strive to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients can better understand their experiences, identify patterns that may be contributing to their difficulties, and develop practical strategies for meaningful change.
Alongside my clinical training, I am actively involved in research examining sleep and mental health across the lifespan. My research has included work examining sleep and napping in young children, as well as insomnia and its treatment in adults. I value integrating current psychological research into clinical practice and providing thoughtful, individualized, and evidence-based care.
